October 3-12, 2014, Bucharest
37 animated shorts screened in our special section - Animash.
The most intense night of the festival is back for the 6th time in a row, with new strange and horror shorts, meant to disturb and challenge the Anim’est audience.
14 commissioned shorts for famous brands like Unilever, Coca Cola, Cadbury and Orange Romania, and 25 music videos of artists like Bonobo, Arctic Monkeys or Basement Jaxx.
The ninth edition of Anim'est is accompanied by the very first in-house communication campaign in the history of the festival.
The most beautiful stories come to Bucharest from over 60 countries; from Taiwan to Colombia, from Norway to Brazil, the festival map looks great!
Anim'est invites Jacques-Rémy Girerd to Bucharest. Famous director and film producer, he is the legendary founder of the French animation studio Folimage.
The films in the Folimage portfolio include three animated feature films directed by Jacques-RémyGirerd and two special retrospective programs.
The country invited to this year's edition of the festival is Denmark - the home of one of the most prestigious animation schools in the world, The Animation Workshop, whose films we screened in our 2011 edition.
